Our change in flexible policy to a more structured work from office policy was brought in to improve team bonding and camaraderie. As a startup, we like to push people to bring out the best in them and adjust their pay (off-cycle) if the Elchemists take additional responsibility & deliver results.

We used to have a flexible policy - but as the team size grew, we felt that there's a need for work-from-office to improve team bonding and cross-functional coordination. We're trying to build a performance driven culture and unfortunately have to put the struggling Elchemists through a performance improvement plan.
