1. Inefficient HR Department: Very poorly managed and lacks a systematic approach, making it one of the worst HR experiences encountered. They are not at all effective. 2. Unreliable Talent Acquisition Team: not trustworthy, often providing misleading information for potential hires. Negative reviews about the school are dismissed as a fault of the previous employees, which us untruthful as the complaints are valid. 3. Ineffective Professional Development: The mandatory 108 hours of PD sessions are unproductive and do not contribute to career growth, making them waste of time and energy. 4. Problematic Principal: She is a significant issue. Over 55 years old, she lacks empathy and treats teachers poorly, often speaking without consideration and acting as if teachers are her subordinates. She is extremely rude. 5. High teacher Turnover: Many teachers leave mid-year, causing significant disruptions. Due to school's insufficient human resources, the teachers who stay get lot of duty classes and the the duty classes are so random, for instance, a senior school teacher is given duty in grade 1 or 2, which makes no sense at all. 6. Error-Prone Ekya Learning Center: The ELC frequently produces error-filled question papers (from chapter tests to pre-boards), which requires teachers to spend excessive time correcting them, often communicated via Slack, necessitating constant phone use. (Fun fact is the only work they do is making question papers). 7. Inconsistent Communication Practices: Although the principal discourages phone use, all critical communications are manages through WhatsApp, leading to contradictory and stressful communication process. 8. Poor Coordination Among Coordinators: There is a lack of coordination among the coordinators, leading to confusion and additional stress for teachers. 9. Unfair Extra Classes: After resignation, the academic coordinator assigns numerous extra classes, disregarding personal health issues or other concerns. 10. Delayed Final Salary: After resignation, there are numerous formalities to complete, but the last month's salary is often delayed without clear communication from HR. The policy mentions 45-day period for the documents and full and final settlement (that particular month) but lacks clarity on the previous month salary. The problem is they give you a complete LOP pay slip although you have worked the entire month; and the worst thing is they don't even give your last pay slip by themself, you'll have to send a mail and get it. 11. No job security: They will take you out of the job even if you have good reviews from the parents, only because they have lesser sections (less admissions) to deal with. 12. HR Policies: Its understandable that the HR Policy is one sided but they don't even follow it themselves. The HR department needs serious attention on an immediate basis. Everything else will start falling into places on its own post that. Being a teacher myself, I honestly suggest you not join this organization, you'll be at your worst. Teachers will get ocean of knowledge. But the culture is pathetic and i would not rate a single star. They collect our original certificate to provide job and when we resign and serve notice period, they ask us to pay 3 months salary to take our original certificate. Very very bad culture and too much of mental stress.

(ITPL BRANCH) EVERYTHING, this place is an example of a toxic work space. please leave before you get trapped. -they have no proper management -no respect for employees, HOS screams for the slightest issues. -they do not have enough teachers to manage classes, so terrible work allocation, you might have to handle about 5 grades. -they don't pay properly nor is there any hike -they do not provide transport to teachers -they also don't provide internet services and expect you to work from school even though there's no work. -EXTREME FAVORITISM, certain teachers were favoured - paid higher also often laid back because of their gender. -you will hear comments like "ask your husband money" bcz they think female teachers are here just as a part time experience. -there are no basic amenities - they will force you to stay back post work hours without any prior information of meetings/sessions Do not fall trap into this, it is a business minded management....Read More

A place to teach and learn. Everyday is a learning period. In addition to teaching, the ambience is more comfortable and easy to work in. The HOS, the directors, the curriculum team and the MD guides everyone of us to be an AGENT OF CHANGE. Colleagues are more professional which is an encouraging factor for me work with. Precisely " I EVOLVE!" The virtual classroom which is going to be recognised ages and ages hence is being implemented right now at EKYA SCHOOLS. It's the best place for 'bookworms'! Both the students and the teachers are encouraged to read books. We don't just read them. We also express our opinion about the books that are read by us in the most dignified manner ever. The children are given an opportunity to think and express. They are taught decorum and classroom etiquette right from the stage of Mariposas😊. The children are let to learn at their own pace along with guided observation. Time is precious indeed. We follow this saying with all our might.
