Likes

Could interact with some very talented guys, but there were some guys who were not doing serious work. Overall it needed churning from top to bottom. Hope things would have changed by now.

Dislikes

There were some guys who were bleeding the company and top management was unaware about that.

Work Details

Was responsible for creating a new business division but the management had limitations of investment at that time.

Work days: Monday to Friday (Flexible Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within Country.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
