I am a Newsreader here in DD Punjabi.I learned many things regarding broadcasting system..... how The whole system works while the live telecast is going on and which are the responsibilities of entire staff.The most enjoyable thing is that no one do work with stress and get their work do on time.In short words I want to say about doordarshan,"I learned lot of things during the period of work as practical knowledge of live news presentation ,signal transmission,content delivery and communication.overall the experience is very good for me .it's fun and competitive place to work in....Read More

The sadest part, as the broadcast industry expanded ,cable and dish tv took over the viewership and Doordarshan got lost somewhere in the race to gain the highest TRP's

Working with Doordarshan Jalandhar is quite good, learn so many things during the work....as this is a government sector we do our work sincerely we give public entertainment ,knowledge of news and so many things.

Work days: Rotational Shift (Flexible Timings)

Hey, AB fam, PIP = Corporate death sentence. I was there too🥲—panicking, checking Naukri every 5 minutes, watching Bhagavad Gita reels at 2 AM. Priya Ma’am, my boss, had lost faith in me. Friends said, "Bro, PIP se promotion tak koi nahi jaata." But I refused to go down. My Survival Jugaad? Chai Pe Charcha – Timed my tea breaks with hers. "Ma’am, elaichi daalni chahiye thi." Next day? I updated my DP with one. "Ma’am, my dog wakes me up for meetings!" Bond = Secured.😉 The Final Jugaad – She looked stressed. "Ma’am, even Dhoni takes a break!" She smiled. Game over.
