Recently many top executives resigned across departments. You can understand from it what kind of culture is there. When someone joins, they do not disclose the variable policy which is very employee UNFRIENDLY. Most of the resignations in the company are due to this reason. Talking about accounts department, if you have worked inan MNC culture before, it will be very difficult to adjust here. I was reporting to DGM finance and I was handling team of 4. All were hard working and were doing great. It is obvious if someone is working, there will be mistakes. However, it was normal for my boss to insult and shout at my team in front of everyone just for small mistakes. When I tried to defend them, I was asked by him “inko pel ke rakho”. 2 people resigned from team due to this reason. For them respect was really important and I supported their decision. My personal life was also getting affected due to daily interaction with a toxic boss. Now the most important part- salary and increments. Salary across all departments is good except ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT. They follow a very clever approach. They may give you a good CTC according to your expectations but there is a catch. They will put major amount of it in Variable pay. Remember, when you join you are unaware of the variable policy. You will be always at loss -BELIEVE ME. Appraisals are based on overall budget of department. If some one got a 12% increment last year, he will be given 2-5% increment. If you get 10-12% increment, major portion of it will be under variable pay. Its never dependant on your performance. I have seen 13 years experienced professional working around 18-20 lacs of package and switching jobs at almost double salary. So do consider this review before joining. Everyone treats us with respect and have a good culture among peers.

Dislikes

No scope of good future, very less increment, no holiday on Saturday, high ambiguity level by senior manager, no additional perks and benefits, boring company with boring lifestyle, no activities for employees, no motivation to work for non sales staff. People working here since more than 20 years with severely less pay package
