I have been at designTech systems for enough time to write this review, I hope people who are planning to join this company make the right choice. To start with the company gives you offer with 2 years bond (it was 3 years before) during which the salaries are nothing but pathetic. At the time of writing this assesment salary for fresher was 13k. People have to move to different client locations based on requirements across india. Company provides guest houses at client locations, which has to be shared with atleast 6-10 other employees when needed. They pay for maintenaces of the guest houses. Recruits who are not sent to client location have to stay at head offices. The office space at Hyderabad looks more like a institute than a office. The chairs are just not sutable for sitting considering the long hours we have to work. The fact that people have to come in shifts to work explains the lack of infrastructure. They do not want to spend money on IT infrastucture. The work culture is toxic, its unfriendly. Its a office where people dont work as a team but against one another. Managers play blame game. they follow a culture of overworking. where we have to come on sundays when asked to. Spending extra hours at office is not compensated. Employees are not given credit for work. Mistakes are called out loud. Managers are known for insulting and questioning employees education and worth. Managers abuse their authority , use fear to maintain control and lack empathy. they usually set impossible deadlines which are difficult to meet. Coming to benefits, Employees are given Paid leaves and Casual leaves but no sick leaves. we can claim travel expenses when going to client location. There is no thing called as job security at Designtech. They will use you make profit out of you and make sure conditions worse and worse till you leave the company . Work here is little overloaded...as starting you will face some issues like completing work slowly and doing overtime some days, as you keep learning every day you will increase your speed. We have to model(meshing) components using hypermesh software.
