There is no work life balance, even they don't provide public holidays like independence day, Gandhi jayanti etc, for designers. Only one day week off that is on Monday which is not at all satisfactory.

As a Designer please don't seek for creativity. You have to sell and achieve targets which is fine if you are looking for salary

Dislikes

Hate hate hate working on national holidays, option holidays, week off and even on you vacation. Senior management has even asked us to work on Diwali, when they are busy sleeping even on weekdays. Your leave won't matter to anyone, there will be continuous call from production, planning and back end teams. If you live with your family please move out before joining the company. Also there is no flexibility to work from home, which sometimes is irrational. The company process and the offerings to customer is good , Although there is hiccup in month on month changes or discontinuation it's a challenge for designers.

The Design manager is least bothered to have a small introduction to the team if there is any new joinee, Looks like more of ordering kind of work structure than being supportive with team . Genuinely felt there a lot of negative vibe how the 2 Design managers just talk about their own team mates so negatively and name them . As being a manager ,they on face say , please don't get any escalations to me ,I don't really think they are doing their job right .Definitely not a place for a good designer to grow and learn. I don't really understand what is with the attitude. I have never felt the AGM also welcoming. Poor communication skills ,More ignorance! A whole lot of different perspective people with very silly mindset. The HR never Address you on Mandatory Sunday working which is for a month untill there the designer closes a project. They just address it is alternative, But looks like it's a different working mode is to be followed post joining as per the manager....Read More

Too much politics. No proper work timings. No proper offs. Account nd HR departments are really poor in function. No proper salary structure. Over load of work at times without any prior notice.

Surprisingly, no job security. Everyone who were below a year experience in the company were laid off during covid which was approximately more than 45 designers out of 60 in the MG road branch.

Initially I was surprised there’s one founder who really cares about her designers but again to my disappointment Gita Ramanan is just like any others founders who think business.
