Dislikes

Too much politics, you need unnecessary spend time on firm initiatives and networking to grow your career. The hikes are based on how well you are aligned with your boss, performance doesn't really matter.

Nothing I would give 0 stars if possible. It is festered with politics and people who are literally only interested in kissing up to management and not interested to work.

Dislikes

Work-life balance: You can forget about "life". There is only work. Promotion and appraisal: The process is flawed. Promotions are completely based on who you know in the company vs. what is the work/impact that you have created. Managers: Almost all managers are only interested in delegation vs. actually getting the job done. They delegate work to their subordinates to throw them under the bus in front of a client. Management (Partners/Principals): As long as they have yes masters and they are surrounded by people who would do anything for them, they will promote them. They do not care about growing talented people in their career. Horrible. Stay away!...Read More

Retention offer

Hello, Current offer from CG - Total 21.5L, fixed as 19.4 and rest bonus Retention offer from Deloitte - Total 19.1, fixed as 15.5 and rest bonus (4L) I understand the offer is less but my manager explained that Deloitte's hikes are better in the market and on an average, I can get 15% every year with good performance. The same hikes in CG are around 5-6% so financially, my salary growth will definitely be more in Deloitte. Please give me suggestions. I have good management and projects in Deloitte with WLB but I would like to have some perspective on offered CTC too
