In Dangote plc no problem about job security if your work is good. Working culture is very good. Nigerian s are very good in Hard working, understanding and giving respect to the time and work. They just want right opportunity and right guidence. Management is very good. Management know the offshore employees problem's, their requirements and always ready to help. I work in Dangote PLC and only local Nigerian s was under me and each and all work they were doing nicely. And there's no single stoppage of kiln due to unavailability of my section. Dislikes

Little ignorebal politics in working at site. And it is every where. My role was mechanical maintenance of Coal mill as well as giving training to my local manpower. And i have done it successfully. I am very satisfied on my work. But I was not satisfied with my salary.

Work Details

I am very happy working with Dangote PLC. I work there as like coal mill section head. My mechanical HOD gives me good chance for individual work and i prove it. Important thing is i work with local Nigerians and given them good training.

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

I like the kind of équipements that we have in that plant so i use to learn a lot in electrical field .

Dislikes

The health and environement security is not respect at all . And we are working from monday to saturday but they don't want to pay our overtime . We don't have training in that équipements we are working only like that with our own knwoleges.

Dangote Cement has a very experienced workforce, a training academy that organizes training for the entire workforce on a regular basis and a very good compensation and benefits for the staff who are of divers nationalities and tribes.

Dislikes

Compensation is good but growth is slow while the work pressure in Transport is high.

Team mates, respect expats. Subordinates are obidient. Training programmes r gud.

Compensation package is not reviewed periodically. Annual increments are not there. Removal of expats is done asking for resignation one month in advance irrespective of your service.
