The work pressure is high. Work culture is not good. The paper work takes longer like government offices. I had to face some personal issues regarding safety which i cannot even report due to power the person is having.

Working culture is good, and it also depends on the scientist under whom you will have to work. As i am Vivek, working under the guidance of Sudip K. Ganguly (chief scientist and dipti director of CSIR-IIP) is a great person, very helpful and humble, and he is a good teacher also.

In IIP Dehradun, Temporary employees such as project associate are very badly treated by permanent employees which is very bad. All rules and regulations are imposed only on project associate. About 80% permanent employees are undeserving as per their post. All strict action take place only on PAs. There is no job security and increment.
