Notice period, early join

My current company notice period is two months 23-Dec-2024 to 20-feb-2024. But my new employer asking for early join ie 3rd of feb! I requested for early relieve to My current employer. Verbally they agreed to relieve two weeks early but now they not ready to relieve early. They want me to complete two months notice period. My new employer asking to join early! What can I do? East sales team is full of dirty politics. RSM level does dirty politics on an employee who is really performer in the industry and joined in that company. No good person can continue even after 1/2 month, they are hampered, humiliated,hackled by somebody and start again searching job to leave. East team management is worthless.Recommending not to join in East team.
