They are able to politically get work from their indian Lobby in USA and UK.

Comcast Chennai is horrible , it should not be called as Comcast . It's a local chennai startup where people who never went outside Chennai are heading departments as they are in relatives of top management because of cast/Brahmins etc.

The extremely high satisfying office atmosphere & work culture. Good compensation & benefits like free lunch etc. Very well designed & maintained office looks. High value as it's a product based & has several products with them. You name it, we have it kinda organization.

Work life balance is good, just because they wont give work. Flexiable timings are most welcomed thing.40 leaves per annum.

no Project, no career growth, De motivated on ur work..So much politics in between.Even people with less experience, or same level of experience will be aggressive to new joiners.So much Rational.No unity in the team..I wont recommend joining comcast.

there is always a bias if you are not a person originated from TamilNadu. It always been there within the team very poor appraisals and promotions are long lost hope and if you are joining as a fresher brace yourself for everything

Good culture and employee-centric policies. Chill work environment and encourages good WLB. Free Udemy access and lot of trainings to upskill yourself. Also have tie up with top institutes for higher education programs (subsidized). Lot's of events round the clock and gives nice goodies on December and a Diwali bonus.

Dislikes

Annual hikes are very less around 10% max. If you don't get promoted to next level in 2-3 years, you will be underpaid. Also internal promotions hikes are less (around 15%). Bad food options in the office and the tech park is in a really bad location, right opposite to garbage dump.
