New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. Except for it's Global name and products, there is nothing that motivates me to hang around in Colgate. It is a Manager driven company wherein they completely control your growth (both financially and career). If you end up having a lame manager you will suffocate and resign immediately. Unfortunately I am a victim of the same.

Dislikes

There is no consideration to your opinion and preferences. The management has pre-determined their course of actions, they just pretend to aid and listen. Infact the current management itself has a no governance process around managers and their work performances. Moreover, the process for bonus and appraisal are just classic example of mockery to demonstrate that individual performance has been considered and eventually they pay the nominal amounts in industry....Read More
