Manager and category leads are not good leaders. These peoples are only savings there job , you will not able to learn from your managers . Also extreme favoritism is happing at Colgate. I have seen some managers are giving promotions to ladies due to ....... not by work . And hr is also not strong in Colgate. Overall for employees slow growth but good stability is there for employees. I wold say company is very good , only managers are bad at CGBS . I worked at CGBS for 2.5 years. If you are proactive and had learning mindset it's best place. Company has good policies and brand name. It's best place for married people who are planning to become parents.

Dislikes

If you are good at licking, being agent to your manager and can promote yourself by doing nothing, this organization will be best place for you.

Except for it's Global name and products, there is nothing that motivates me to hang around in Colgate. It is a Manager driven company wherein they completely control your growth (both financially and career). If you end up having a lame manager you will suffocate and resign immediately. Unfortunately I am a victim of the same.

There is no consideration to your opinion and preferences. The management has pre-determined their course of actions, they just pretend to aid and listen. Infact the current management itself has a no governance process around managers and their work performances. Moreover, the process for bonus and appraisal are just classic example of mockery to demonstrate that individual performance has been considered and eventually they pay the nominal amounts in industry....Read More
