Good learning opportunities on US Audit and US GAAPS, HUD Audits,NFP Audit, US Affordable Housing Project, Commercial Real estates.

Dislikes

Joined as CONTRACTOR. Those 3 mnths were hell. Toxic work environment, Mangers will make the CONTRACTORs to work more than 12hrs a day and will never allow you to charge more than 8hrs a day. And salary paid to CONTRACTORs are not upto the market rates.

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
