Cochin shipyard is a mini Ratna company. They working on ship repair and building. i think 70 percent of the employees are contract workers. Permanent employees are very talented and officers also.They are following 15 hrs of duty time for those who are directly engaging ship repair and building in 2 shifts. Their management was very cunning and piercing one. They are not providing any job securities for your job. After completion of contract they will not absorb or no plan to give promotion. CSL gives salary without any delay or dues and bonus also. Company policies are very strict. During lockdown CSL gave April month's salary. After lockdown they restarted on may 25th. But may's salary they paid for those who have attended company on 25 th may. They paid back the salary of may by step by step in each month. Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
