The Harsh Reality at CityFurnish, Gurugram Sector 47 Since Joining CityFurnish, I have encountered one of the most toxic and most unprofessional workplace cultures of my career. Despite what was promised in the offer letter, the actual experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Employees are supposed to be entitled to 1 Casual Leave per month according to the company policies, but my Team Leader (TL) has introduced arbitrary and unreasonable hurdles, Such as demanding medical documentation of my parents for the approval of a single CL. This practice is both unfair and degrading. The office culture is riddle with politics, leading to an environment where employees are either resigning on the spot or desperately seeking new opportunities often during their working hours. The toxic behaviour of the TL and indifferent attitude of management have turned the workplace into a mentally exhausting battleground. Even the promises made during recruitment have been broken. I had secured WFH arrangements for December as part of my agreement with the company. However, internal politics led to one additional day being retroactively marked as LWP (Leave Without Pay). Adding to this, it is clear that favoritism plays a big role in Cityfurnish's management decisions. One TL with a personal relationship with the manager was granted WFH without any questions or scrutiny, while the other employees' WFH or leave requests are routinely rejected, accompanied by lectures and excuses. The customer satisfaction level reflects the internal chaos. Customers are dissatisfied with the services, mirroring the unhappiness and lack of motivation in the employee ranks. Overall good company work environment good. Always support from reporting manager. You can also reach directly to the CEO Neerav for any query and he is more than happy to treat you equally. I would recommend this company if anyone willing to join.

I was working as a HR Intern at Cityfurnish. I had the best time over there in terms of learning and I will forever cherish it. I would like to take a moment to thank my manager who is great in whatever work she does. She was very supportive and always motivated me to do better. Even the staff and colleagues were very fun to be around. The best part about Cityfurnish was that there was no politics and the environment was very friendly and cooperative.
