The Harsh Reality at CityFurnish, Gurugram Sector 47 Since Joining CityFurnish, I have encountered one of the most toxic and most unprofessional workplace cultures of my career. Despite what was promised in the offer letter, the actual experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Employees are supposed to be entitled to 1 Casual Leave per month according to the company policies, but my Team Leader (TL) has introduced arbitrary and unreasonable hurdles, Such as demanding medical documentation of my parents for the approval of a single CL. This practice is both unfair and degrading. The office culture is riddle with politics, leading to an environment where employees are either resigning on the spot or desperately seeking new opportunities often during their working hours. The toxic behaviour of the TL and indifferent attitude of management have turned the workplace into a mentally exhausting battleground. Even the promises made during recruitment have been broken. I had secured WFH arrangements for December as part of my agreement with the company. However, internal politics led to one additional day being retroactively marked as LWP (Leave Without Pay). Adding to this, it is clear that favoritism plays a big role in Cityfurnish's management decisions. One TL with a personal relationship with the manager was granted WFH without any questions or scrutiny, while the other employees' WFH or leave requests are routinely rejected, accompanied by lectures and excuses. The customer satisfaction level reflects the internal chaos. Customers are dissatisfied with the services, mirroring the unhappiness and lack of motivation in the employee ranks. Baseless complaints and double standards if someone has personal habit or anything while wearing a mask out of respect for others, why is that suddenly the major issue? The workplace has Chainsmokers, People using foul language on floor, yet no one question them If you claim to be professional, learn to mind your own business first. 4.
