Everything is under SVP hands. SVPs are often seen dominating VPs and AVPs 1.Higher management look at you as Rec! 2. Not employee friendly org to work with. 3. They really pay well.

1.No work life balance. 2.Canadian CITCO employee thinks themselves as God, they dominate so much. 3. SVPs and VPs act according to Canadian CITCO team. 4. They make you submit timesheet for 8hours and you need to spend at least 14 hours. 5. No one shares knowledge in team. 6. No proper communication with in team. 7. Vintage employees stab back at their own AVPs by adding more masala to Canada teams. 8. SVPs - Depends under who. You are working , but often seen them dominating under level peers....Read More

Your asked to work with limited manpower (almost like 1:4, i.e., one person to perform job equivalent to 4 people.) The work culture is terrible especially for women employees. The firm invests in technology which makes lives more difficult which in turn defeats the purpose of technology altogether. They are not open to new ideas because they are too behind in understanding how the corporate world works in today’s era. Hedge Funds operation knowledge. Lot of training material to understand other processes.

Dislikes

Little bit of long working hours 11-12 hours on an average but being in this business, it is expected. You have to wait for the sign from other team and it leads to further correction sometime and you end up stretching. Need to work efficiently.
