The life, if you have no aspirations, is very good. The company doesn't force you to take any initiative so there's one less pressure.

A few years back, Ciber was purchased by HTC Global as Ciber had filed for bankruptcy due to series of poor judgement of investing in bad business by CEO. After HTC purchased Ciber the things have been downhill. HTC is a privately held company and has no concept of communication with employees. The management doesn't announce anything and just makes the changes. Everything is associated with money and dealt with accordingly. The tissue papers in the restrooms were discontinued because they were costly. The management doesn't meet with employees and doesn't want to understand the aspirations of an employee. An employee is always associated with the CTC and not with skill set. There's no talk of innovation and whatever small amount is talked about is killed by the lack of understanding of VP engineering. No one in the company is free to take any decision and all the decisions are taken by the owners of HTC with Ciber being treated as an unwanted child. There's is no long term plan. All the good guys have already left or in the process of leaving which is result in bottom layer still part of Ciber, there by not improving the company matters. The company has lost a lot of clients and the pipeline isn't good at all....Read More

Boring work with no innovation. One's login time and log out time is monitored very closely with questions raised every now and then. WFH is very less.
