1) Cheil pays well, better than industry standards. 2) They have free lunch for all employees so its great for bachelors who don't want to cook in the mornings. 3) Their is work-life balanace for a few teams. Some teams end up staying back till late. 4) Fancy office. Office is situated in a swanky building so you can ejoy some great cafes and be in a great environment structurally. 5) They offer huge number of annual leaves. - It is an absolute authoritarian culture and you will feel it a lot while you are there. It is a highly trust deficit culture. They treat their employees poorly- extremely strict rules, zero flexibility in terms of what time you can come and go, even in extreme conditions no work from home even for a day. Very Hitler like. - Managers like to keep an eye on you and follow you wherever you go. They will call you if at all you are not at your desk for more than 10 minutes. - Atleast 70-80% employees are unhappy and this makes the working environment extremely negative. This also impacts your mental health a lot. - In most cases, if you choose to work here, this job will teach you a lot. When you move on from here, this will teach you to never accept toxic people and toxic culture ever again. You get to learn a lot as you get to interact with Sr. PM's and other management people in Samsung. The team at Samsung is very hard working, deligent and smart, so under their guidance you learn a lot. Unlike the Cheil team, here some departments still have smart and knowldegable people like the Data analytics team and performance team. Some divisions of creative team is also good.

Dislikes

Many hires in Mid-management, Creative and Studio team are pathetically bad, please beaware of them. Guess it is because they are hired on reference and are not througly assesed or evaluated during the interview process. This makes it difficult for other employees to get the work done around them even if it gets completed its not done right at the first go because of their lack of experience and limited knowledge....Read More
