First thing first, I am saying all the things for joka unit only. Can't say about other 1) Bonus @20% per annum 2) Big and vast unit. You will end up learning something for sure.

Again for joka unit, I am mentioning 1) No centralised HR system. Joka has its own hr policies 2) One man show. A senior authority has utmost control over the administration. He/she being treated as a god there. The policies changes with his whims. Even the MD is sidelined by him/her 3) You won't get any leave for 1st one year.. no matter if you have most serious of the diseases. It will be leave without pay. 4) the LWP you took for the year will get adjusted in 2nd yr also. Second year, onwards you are entitled for 30 leaves. Bsm..company recruit reporting manager who have not any knowledge about any work for flush door department.where i worked...also he is totally addicted person... but when i joined then the general manger was helpful .company appointed suddenly new general manager.who was from fmcg sector not have any idea about building materials sector..always talk irrelevant topic after his appointment of 3 month suddenly with out any proper reason called in branch office and said to resign other wise he terminate me....i.joined in this company as it was a Ltd company....but got behaviour like worked on a shop...specially for last 3 month..when joined the new general manager...totally wasted of time...this is the work culture of company own headquarters ...worked on century ply is wasted of time and energy both......Read More

Everything from Mangement to Product quality is shit. They only cares about monthly business apart from that nothing. Even if employee is sick or his hand is broken due to job they do not care. They just want labour to do their work.

As far as my branch concerns, it is employee friendly environment. Too much of work pressure which is quite obvious at this level. Trying to inbuild new system and process which will give result in long term. Company is on a growth path, long term vision is very clear and in process of execution. Better to say area of improvement. 1. Inter departmental transfer opportunity should be explored since it is the biggest company in this segment and has lot of other departments'. 2. Intervention of top level management in few smallest thing should be avoided. 3. At times, company thinks that market would except whatever it does, which is not reality.

No work culture- High level of Micro Management, No proper structure, visionless and apathetic managers, very abusive environment. If you are career oriented, then keep back from this organisation. There is no proper HR system too. High level of employee attrition specifically in the region of Kerala
