One drawback of working at C-DAC is the lack of a fixed promotion structure. Freshers join as Project Engineers, but promotions to roles like Senior Project Engineer are rare and depend on project needs and management decisions. This can make career growth uncertain.

Nothing is there to like here. Poor management. Especially the current executive director Mr. Kalai is more like a dictator.

Dislikes

Forget about the work life balance. Lot if work pressure. ETG section is the worst with the worst possible managers and group heads. The day starts with threatening messages in WhatsApp group by the group head. Promotions are dependent on how much of a slave you are. They expect you to be in office for extra hours and on weekdays too even if they don’t have any project.

Managers are noisy, every task they want in 2 days, they'll give task on Friday, ruin you weekend, no work life balance, higher authorities promise unrealistic timeline to client and pressure employees to work day and night, delayed appraisal, but cut your salary in time for being late in office

If you are Joining as PA than it is best to not join. Both PA and PE do same work. But treatment PA get is not good. Also there is no proper procedure do the work in company. They still not use basic project management tools. Also appraisal only depends on your presentation skills it is not depend on you work. 1. Work life balance is really pathetic. In my tenure of 2yrs barely I remember i left the office on time. 2. Due to lack of Employees engagement activities employee doesn’t find any motivation to work here. 3. Being government organisation, no initiatives for implementation of new technology or SDLC tools.

Working here with senior peoples have good experience as youngsters. They won't allow us grow . Without having any technical knowledge they came on the top and blame freshers with their ego. Promotion is also based on the politics. Very pathetic situation to work here .Not recommended for the people who is bothered about their career
