It has always been pleasure to working at CSIR-CMERI. Here, it is always time of every work and so many analytical instruments present. Always benefit to the workshop happened in the lab.

Dislikes

Canteen snacks time should be more. The cost of different characterization instruments is very high. It should be within reasonable because outside people also access their work.

The most amazing thing is the resources. If you are an workaholic, you will never feel shortage of resources. Everything will be easily available to work for you. Had a great time learning, exploring, experimenting, developing and growing. A great place to upgrade and showcase the skills, creativity, and innovation.

To be honest, nothing is there to dislike except the behaviour of Administrative person. I came accross one person (only) of administrative section who used to (now he is not in CMERI any more) treat persons based on designation ONLY.

The central mechanical engineering research institute is a public engineering research and development institution in Durgapur, West Bengal,India. It is a constituent laboratory of the Indian Council of Scientific and Industrial Research .There is a great opportunity for practical experience in mechanical research beside the theoretical concept of engineering.

There is a high chance to develop the technical skill by availing the infrastructure and amenities. Apart from that the campus life is quite healthy and nature friendly.

Dislikes

Though I am a work freek guy yet sometimes i felt boaring and exhausted due to poor work life balance. Apart from that, the Institute's account department is quite unorganized and due to which casual staff or contractual staff like me get suffered very often for not getting stipend time to time.
