i was really happy and satisfied with the team. Really enjoyed the team work. And thanking to my team leader Mr. Jose Kurian, Rtd. Chief Engineer, CPWD- for giving chance to work with him. The company changed my life style, job style etc.

For permanent employees, its common to be placed in 6 month performance improvement program(PIP), which often seems like a pretext to eventually terminate them. Despite claiming to be employee-centric, the company often fall short when its time for salary hikes. Common excuses include taking more leaves, being unavailable for overtime, or not being available during fixed working hours, even if you consistently complete your 8 hour daily target Employees are frequently required to work on weekends without being allowed to charge overtime, as project hours are limited in most of the cases. Lack of flexible metrics to assess employee performance is a major concern. Heavy Micro management and torture from especially Finance Manager. No growth and hike. All benefits will go for Manager buckets. Please don’t join if you want good position in market.

Work culture of CDM Smith is really amazing, proper outings are arranged for the employees, for rejuvenation of the employees and to encourage employee involvement in extra curricular activities, games like carrom, badminton tournament, cricket tournaments are also arranged.

Dislikes

Internal politics related to different CDM groups is actually downgrading the values of CDM. No proper work flow is there, less scope of skill enhancement.
