I work as a manager of managers and I love the fact that the top management truly fosters a free and encouraging work culture where opinions can be expressed freely. This applies to all levels in the OS both horizontally and vertically. Anybody can share an idea and it is objectively reviewed by the management and given due weightage.
Another major advantage is how approachable and humane the top management is. Personal life and circumstances are always considered and working conditions are extremely flexible so that no employee feels constricted or suffocated. If it is found that any manager or TL exercises an oppressive stance, there is quick intervention and immediate resolution.
Learning is given the kind of importance that is due and the company provides reimbursement for relevant professional certification and training....Read More
Dislikes
Sometimes there is a tendency to extend the KRAs beyond one's domain which might be beneficial for the company and not of much use to the employee concerned. However, the employee's voice is heard if raised at the right time in the right manner. This is a common issue in most companies and a part and parcel of the corporate experience. IMO, life at CN is as balanced as it can get as long as you wish to sell your services against a decent, though not flamboyant, monthly package....Read More
