They first hired me and then said one day before joining that your position is on hold so when joining confirm 10 time with HR , and even though first they gave me hike and decided all salary and joining date then they said you have to meet our VP for holding position so that you can continue and after meeting VP they lesser the salary package and the HR kavya Doesn't told me everything about roles and responsibilities and when they finally decided to hire me ,on the date of joining they said we can't put your joining date of today as you didn't bring documents ,those documents I had already submitted to them , they don't even know I came from 300km and shifted myself and also paid P.G. rent and all. Everyone wanted to lead even after having a marketing manager specially the manager from operation always try to lead instead of having buisness heads in marketing team. Very bad culture in terms of work . No job security .they will suddenly raise your target for ur pip. Being a manager they never hired any promoter and wanted to distribute pamphlets and all. Very very bad experience.

I like the company overall but I had worked under other department I was quite happy to here but suddenly they shifter me to admissions. I really did not have the good experience there. People are not ready to teach you anything.

Chandigarh branch : I have had a worst experience working under the Admission team. MS Anu the manager she seem favor employees who indulge her ego, created very toxic environment in the team. If you go to her with any problem, she will not let you speak. she kept one Team Lead Priyanka Thakur for canada team to harass people and till date she has not allowed any new member to stay in her team more than a month. She personally comments on girls use bad words. What worse! Manager (Anu) if she wants to terminate any employee who is not spooning her she transfer that employee to Priyanka's team then she mentally torture that employee either they will leave the job by their own due to depression or she will. I haven't sleep for a month, cried every night and day. Eventually I had to leave the job. I have been working at Canam since 1 year 10 months now, but haven't received any appraisals as of yet despite filling the appraisal form. I was told I'll get a promotion but there has been no promotions as of yet. All false words. My recruitment manager has promised me that I would be working in the role of an assistant counsellor for 6 months and then will be promoted to the role of counsellor, but that has not happened. They wanted me to meet the targets as a counsellor but with the salary of assistant counsellor. The company suddenly started downsizing without providing any proper opportunity. Have been dumped with the all the work load of the branch, starting with making cold calls, talk to the students but was never allowed to make applications by myself. I did Sops, Lors, prepare CVs, prepared students for both Visa & Application Interviews for UK, Australia and USA. It's a dead-end.
