The only advantage of working in this company is that you could get to attend a lot of corporate, political, industrial and media events. You get to meet/interact with high profile names, which you otherwise generally wouldn't. So basically you can personally benefit by your own strong networking skills.

I joined as a media fresher and there was no on-job training provided. You will barely find a professional holding a degree in the firm. Everyone does everything; anyone does anything; no HR; no hierarchy whatsoever. I had come in as a marketing executive, was placed in events department and was also asked to do media planning & buying. Salary is below expectations & there's no such thing as annual increment,or any sort of appraisal for that matter. Office politics is on another level. There is absolutely zero chance of growth within the firm. Extremely lazy & laid back office atmosphere, except for the time when the boss is present. Nobody takes you seriously; nobody cares. Working days would be mon to sat, & working hours from 10am to 8pm followed by attending events around 5days a week, sometimes even on sundays, which had got me working for 14-15 hours straight. Also,I was denied travel allowances when I had to attend events, and was told that allowances are only given if I'd travel by public transport (with proof) which was absurd to me. So I ended up spending a lot of money on auto/ola to attend events. Dress code is formals, casuals being allowed on saturdays. That being said, I once wore ripped denims on a Saturday and was taunted several times in the company meeting. I was apalled and felt humiliated. Thereafter, I was back to wearing formals on Saturdays too. This is just one of the various incidents that were usual there. It was an extremely unhealthy atmosphere to be in. A company where females almost outnumbered males,it's a shame. So forget a good work environment, for me it was neither a pleasant nor a comfortable workplace. Having fallen ill, I quit the job after one year. On leaving, I wasn't even given the salary of my last working month or any experience letter despite several requests. To sum it up, this company is a bad place to work in & does not live up to it's reputation in the industry. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a job....Read More
