Major concerns of the editors are long working hours, no freesom of creativity, editors can easily be replaced in an instant, always mass hiring. The concerns of the people are not considered so everyone is upset in the company. Policies are designed in a way so that the editors are held responsible for everything. No insurance at all! HR is extremely unprofessional. Try to speak a lot about work culture and empathy, but in reality dont care at all. Editors work long hours and can often have back problem, neck problem or eye pain due to oveer working on screens. No coniseration fo their health. Some times, employees need only 1 day's rest for weakness or backache. They harass employees for medical certificates. They dont understand you only need a day's rest and sometimes especially in India people dont go to doctor for minor illnesses. One day's rest can prevent a long term injury. The pay is so low that the cost of medical certificate vs. Losing out a day's pay is same. HR is small minded and need to stop acting like 90s HR. My senior was randomly fired along with some other members. The down sizing was done in a verry bad way! HR at the time of hirring commited to a payement then 2 days later called and reduced the offr, I took the job because I needed money. Diwali bonus is literally 1000 rupees, thats it. No sweets, no gifts, 1000 rupees - chanda hai kya? HR Himani is particularly high headed. Recruitment HR Vidya cannot be trusted with the offers. Internal coordination in recruitment team regarding what offers to make is poor. HR will have monthly calls with you and ask unnecessary personal questions and put it on record under the garb of concern but will eventually use it against you. Horrible Leave policy. HR is the worst and claim they are a people and culture team but honestly they are NOTpeople and uncultured team...Read More

Their people and Culture Team (HR) expects you to adhere to core values, but the same does not apply to them. They chuck out good employees, who have worked for them for years, overnight. They lock you out of your log-ins as if you have committed a crime. I had to call HR and tell them I could not log in, and that is when they informed me that I had been terminated. No proper explanation was given, and I was told that we were let go because the company operations were closing down but in the letter they mentioned "terminated" which gives a very bad impression. This not only happened with me but multiple colleagues. The 2.6 rating on the Ambition box is not worth it, they should be given a negative rating. The CEOs are delusional and blame everything on the employees. They chuck money on your face, post-banishing you, and expect you to say good things about them.
