There is job security.

Job security - Good

Dislikes

This is not a employee centric company. They have the worst leave policies. They are resistant in changing their process, architecture and design. They don't have any system for work culture. They are always late in bringing new business change. They have the worst HR department. There do partiality within employees for work from home.

lets not talk about it, i joined this pace with lot of excitement to see how it feels to work with IIM and IIT founders, they have work from home policy but again no support for the expenses of internet and work station set up like other tech companies do,

very disappointed with the hr culture, the hr head is some old school lady with hardly any exposure in the tech companies, does not understand the requirements of techies, i felt completely out of place, be careful before joining here, connect with the employees on LinkedIn and take feedbacks, not at all employee supporting, no perks for internet, poor hr systems,..

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
