Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

The company is based out of Dhaka and is among the top 3 pharmaceutical companies of Bangladesh. I worked as an expatriate in Sales & Marketing for 5 years, taking up separate assignments on a year on year basis. Lot of scope for experimentation exists and Managers are encouraged to do so. Please note that expatriates (specially from India) are considered as capability multipliers and not as an asset.After the work permit expires which could either be for a period of 3 years or maximum 5 years, the company may not renew the contract.
