Top management like Divya Sapra HR head Hitesh Sehgal RM and DM Shreya nair they all are playing politics and troughing people outside if they don't like them.. If we listen our seniors then only you can work with Bata doesn't matter they and right or wrong,just listen what they said which is not possible all the time ...it's like we are jail and they all treating us like a animal

Pressurized employee for sales but not normal sale extraordinary sale i.e, every bill includes min. 3 quantity and much more extraordinary things and demote employee on the basis of last week performance without giving any last warning. Bad work life culture here not recommended any to join here.

1. Office politics... Everybody thinks they are James bond, no one bothers to mind there own business... All are bothered about what the other is doing or thinking... Bosses make your colleagues call you and be on the concall silently and listen to the conversation... And the above is the culture in BATA, since AGES... DISGUSTING CULTURE.

I have given 8 long year to Bata India. HR of the company is that week that they are only there to print letters nothing else, HR is not strong they are just there for the sake of department and to take orders from other department. Am the TOP performer and that must be available in records I got promoted in 2023 as ARM and in May 2023 I went to Indonesia for 1 month for operations review as I was the top performer but in 2024 North ops management got changed and me as a ARM who was supposed to get a region was forced to work under RM as a district manager and that RM couldn’t digest the same designation Emp under him and he went personal on me and given me PIP without giving proper clarification as there were 5-7 employee were performing less then my test and taly and the main point HR didn’t even ask about any that how come a Emp who is already ARM is working as DM and nothing was discussed in front of HR after seeing that PIP I resigned because my worth in the company was more then a PIP. Pathetic atmosphere only personal people got retained and given growth. If am lying then the performance of my territory must be available in Tablue. Nothing to like in this company. Maybe the company may have good work culture outside India.But here it sucks big time.

I am really disappointed with the work culture. Only the Store Managers falls under company payroll and the other store associates falls under third party payroll and due to this,if there is any cash or stock shortage, the Store Manager becomes liable for everything. The store Manager has to pay from his pocket all the shortages,orelse FIR will be raised from the company. Be careful, I have seen many SM suffering due to someone else's mistake . The company may seem like an MNC but in real life it's worse than a local Kirana shop....Read More
