I joined BOK when it was at its infant stage in its very FIRST MONTH and spent almost 25 Years with it. Hence I have an emotional attachment with it. I am proud to quote that the FIRST EVER VOUCHER, BOOK, GL, Cash Book, Statement of affairs of Head OFFICE of BOK was written and signed by me and Syed Shabbir Hussain Shah as Deputy Director and Joint Director of Central Accounts department of BOK Head OFFICE Peshawar respectively. It was a wonderful experience while working at BOK in a family like environment. It was a great opportunity to learn and grow simultaneously. Most of the times I was heard and my suggestions were given due weightage. I am satisfied with what I have done very sincerely for the benefits and growth of lower working class specifically and all employees generally. The Bank of Khyber gave me an identity and a distinguished position in Society. Dislikes

As I remember there was very little to regret. By and large it was a family like environment and each and every employee knew each other from top to bottom. Every one could convey his/her grievance to the highest level fearlessly. Doors of seniors were always open for junior most people and that was very satisfying when you were interacting with the lowest level up to their satisfaction.

Work Details

Never felt tired of working because of independent and comfortable working environment. It is worth mentioning that I have worked for upto 18 hours, without any stress when the Bank was deploying its first banking software, Iwas Chief Manager then.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within City.
