Hostile and unsafe work environment, the majority of people working there are actively looking for work elsewhere. 55% turnover rate. A guy got killed by a haul truck and nobody knew until the foxes were ripping his coveralls apart. Asbestos was found in the mine and covered up. I slept in a tent on a plywood bednd-color: #fff5e4;">. Had to pay most of my cost of travel to Montreal to get to work, travel allowance did not cover it all</mark>. Set clear boundaries and prioritize tasks to maintain productivity. 6. Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor, even in virtual interactions. 7. Use video conferencing tools to stay connected with colleagues. 8. Prioritize integrity by delivering high-quality work. 9. Take ownership of your career by setting goals and seeking feedback. 10. Establish clear expectations with colleagues and managers. 11. Celebrate achievements and recognize progress to stay motivated. By applying these lessons, I've been able to thrive in a remote work environment.
