List is so long, 1. Long working hours(11-12hrs) that too in design department.(doesn't happen anywhere else) and 6 days working (sometimes whole week) 2. Less salary - worst increments(even when the company gains alot of profit) 3. No Work-personal life balance 4. Discrimination among different departments - doesn't consider staffs of shop floor as their staff. 5. Where every department of people are taken on tours, staff of shop floors are left behind. 6. Worst HR policy. People in here don't value your work, even when you work so hard for the company. They will pay higher salary to the new employee but won't give good appraisal for the old employees....Read More

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
