The company is sinking. There is no team bonding. Everybody is fighting with eachother and looking for chance to teach a lesson. Manager centric. HR is kinda puppet. Manager dictates the HR and HR quitly follows. If you want to servive and grow in the company bribe the manager and his higherups with valuable things. Verymuch language specific if one is natively from same state as manager and speakes the same language, he will be preferred first and selected for trainings etc......Read More

I was fortunate enough to work with very good teammates. All were very professional in approach. If you are performing well don't have to bother about job security. If a person is is below par than he was advised and given ample opportunity to improve with his mentor. Salary was at par with the industry norms, though no one will satisfy whatever salary he or she gets. There were less amount of politics. There was enough scope for growth, one has to nominate himself or herself for the training he or she needs to acquire to enhance skillsets with approval of senior. If anyone want overseas assignments, he or she can approach his or her senior, if opportunities comes it may be assigned. Overall working environment was good....Read More

Though overseas allowances are clearly defined in the company policy book, still some managers were trying to cut the corners on allowances to keep project cost down.

My work was to interact with the client for implementation of SAP project and provide production support post implementation. Coordination with offshore and onsite team.

New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!
