No job security for adhoc teachers. Teacher might get kicked out based on the whims and fancies of principal. In covid time many good teachers were kicked out because of disgusting principal Shailja Shikara, a pathetic woman.

I feel privileged working with Army school. It is a boarding school so I like being with students coming from various backgrounds. It works under the AWES policies and treats everyone equally.

Dislikes

Frequent changes in red book regarding the appointment of teachers is disappointing some times. As school does not provide Provident fund so there is no benefit during retirement.

Work Details

I joined the school in 2013. Being residential school the atmosphere was quite different but i adopted the system very soon. I was given many responsibilities which made me confident to present my views on different issues in day to day teaching learning.

New Job Anxiety?

Hey all I recently got an offer from a company as it offered me a 60-70 % hike over my current company which was about to secure a job. I am having 3 years of experience in SAP BW domain and mostly and in this I have worked for 1.6 years in BW support and that too in night shifts where there is not much work. I started preparing interviews and cleared them and now got an offer and I put my notice and my last working day was next week. Now coming to the main part even though I'm good about most part having less real time experience and exposure is freaking me out and what will be the new company expectations and I decided to work hard to learn all the details it's just the hands on I'm not sure. With in mean time I'll be preparing in that company I mean once I join should I need to tell my lead or manager that this is at where am I and should I just bluff them as i know everything. Any suggestions please...the joining date is around the corner which gives me more anxiety
