As I write this review, the company is closed due to lockdown. The company has already made precautions regarding pandemic. As the first case of Covid-19 declared in our state, the company gave us awareness about the seriousness of the issue through verbally and by other means. Even the screen saver of systems reminded us the same. The company has arranged sanitizers and handwashes in various parts of the plants, even from entrance gate. The security guards at the entrance have given temperature measuring instruments to check out the sick persons. Those who affected any kind of fever strongly recommended to stay home. In the canteen, the canteen workers supplied food wearing hand gloves and masks. Early, we could take food as much as we want by hand, later it prohibited. But, the most achievable thing that company can claim is that, they made a complete awareness of the issue among employees by taking these micro level safety measures....Read More

I'm working at Apollo tyres as a Graduate Apprentice trainee. The bad side is that, according to the position I behold, I'm getting no worthy works/tasks. The task given is to do machine drawing in AutoCAD (The only one job that B.Tech can match) and some paper works , checking quotations and bills etc. In my department, I'm the only one apprentice trainee who have the privilege to use AutoCAD. Other guys are given some kind of 'kooli' jobs. What we can do here is observing and studying the works of engineers and study machine parts and elements, different material etc. But, these scope is limited to gain as we are not directly involving in to the core jobs. So, studying the things we can learn in our limit can be learned in less than or equal to 6 months, the remaining 6 months is about waste. Even, the guys working inside the plant will not get any minute without calls from different sides to bring that item, to complete check list, to write what they say, to clean that, to do one thing that no else like to blah...blah... And at the end, the will be completing a year useless....Read More

Work Details

I work here as Graduate Apprentice Trainee. I'm designated as draftsman in engineering department. I draw machine parts in AutoCAD and the approved drawing is used for further works.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This job involves Travel Within City.
