I like that full ownership of metrics and projects is given and leadership is usually receptive towards trying out any initiatives/experiments with short timelines and low budget. The org structure seems to be horizontal for the most part and employees even at lower positions are free to pick up high impact initiatives.
Leadership goals change very often, so planned charters are usually abandoned midway due to change in company strategy. Company strategy is usually not very convincing as they try to focus on too many thing at once. Appreciation - both monetary and abstract seems to be missing, which weighs down on the general mood of employees. There is a lot of inertia in moving a project.

Don't go for the brand, except for a few people there is zero contact with the Apollo main Brand. Culture is fake, Hire and Fire is rampant and kept under the rugs to hide the shortcomings of leadership Priorities change everyday, Some Product Leads and Heads pressure you to validate their high pay with zero contribution expecting juniors to take up all the slack through heavy micromanagement

At Apollo 247 employees get lots of responsibilities and ownership. They often work with top bosses on complex problems, which makes you feel trusted. Collaborating with other companies is tough. So many times it feels that they genuinely wants projects to fail. Layoffs were very painful. It was not easy to sit with friends and colleagues when they were crying. Last, why do we have HR? We dont get any reply from them at all.

Expectations to work like a robot with consistent improvements, if you aren’t able to deliver 1 day then you will be demotivated by your manager by grilling you with lots of Why, What questions and raise questions about time management 2. Manager asks to find gaps and create stories and doesn’t agree on the story which gets created. No clarity of work 3. Every module dev team work on their own pace and ignore defects raised by QA 4. There is no dedicated staging env needed to run scripts 5. Deployments happen very frequently on staging and on PROD as well 6. PROD deployment happens on Tuesday and Thursday officially, but the deployment happens everyday unofficially 7. Product team are the worst, they keep changing the UI very often and keep adding new useless features Instead of stabilising the existing features 8. Daily stand up meeting which is only 30 mins goes beyond 1-1.5 hrs on an average, where grilling with questions would be the main agenda..which makes you feel demotivated and have a lot of self doubt...Read More
