I like the work culture here. Managers are good, HR is also supportive and top level management listens to the employees.

Dislikes

I dislike the year-end bonus factor which is like 25% of your in hand monthly salary. It is difficult to negotiate outside. Secondly, AWM&RVS department is the most pathetic department. The work that is done here has no value in other companies. Only 10% of the work force in this department has skills which matters in the industry, but the rest are qualified to work there only. They cannot switch to any other company and take a big jump in their salary. Bottomline: if you are looking for entry level job then only join AWM department. The worst experience with HR department of Ameriprise. There is no accountability and candidates never get feedback or results after ops round and when you drop emails to HRs they won’t respond back. Treating a candidate like cheap labour due to no labour laws like UK USA..
