Work life balance use to be good. But now with complete hand of operation to Indian management. That only good point is also not there

Dislikes

Indian Management is way worst here, they work very unethically. You can see proper politics and favouritism. Hike is also very less. And management will say something and do something else. There no transparency. They are working on old technology and design so there will be no beneficial learning curve.

Corporate culture at the centre (Nice, Madrid) is good. Openness, innovation, transparency etc. Work life balance is encouraged.

Corporate politics at play is unbelievable at management levels. Blr leadership resorts to ruling by fear while promoting “transparency” and “openness” in company forums. Politics between blr and nice is even crazier, and if you’re caught in the middle (speaking from personal experience), your days are numbered. Terrible workplace and would not recommend. Work life balance is good as it is a European company. They do not expect anyone to work beyond 5.30pm IST. If you want a settled career and have no greed for promotions and big hikes then go for this peaceful company.

They are forcing people to come to office 3 days a week. This is a waste of time as Bangalore traffic is a huge mess. Company should have provided an option to permanently work from home.

Culture has deteriorated over years. Favoritism at its peak, most managers and senior managers have no idea of software development and promotions happen based on perception as no one really knows and puts any effort to know who deserves it who dont. Avoid this company unless you have no options.

If you manage to get into a good team then you can make your work enjoyable & maybe learn from your peers at the same time. Amazing job security, no firing during COVID & also consistent hiring across the year, they don't over-hire.

Promotions and hike system is inconsistent and overall poor. Management can be tough. Very low flexibility in terms of Work/Life balance You either have no work or all the work in the world, managers play favorites a lot. Systems are all over the place, actions taken by upper management might not make sense at times and you get bogus requirements if you are in that kind of team. Though depends on individuals, teams and managers, there is enough potential to learn and contribute. Tons of interesting work is happening on technology, cloud, ml.

Dislikes

Leadership level a lot of things can be improved. Though there are great leaders who made the company what it is, unless there is a freshness of leadership, we won’t be able to take the company to the next level. E.g. there is a need to diversify, pivot the business. Thinking of B2C, encashing data, making solutions more open and lean etc.
