Work environment is the main TSP of Alumnus Software. No one will find a better and more helpful managers in any other company. And more importantly from CEO to HR everyone is easily reachable and friendly to the employees. And yes, corporate politics is totally zero here in Alumnus.

Dislikes

First and the most important think I dislike about Alumnus is having no onsite opportunities. Though they give decent hike almost to all employees. Having no technology wise classification among employees is another include in the con part. Hence one have to work in multiple technology or in multiple domain according to project requirements.

I got an offer from both the companies, manager role. Flipkart’s offer: fixed (x) + variable pay + stock Deloitte’s offer: fixed (x+1) + variable + 1.5L joining bonus Variable pay % is the same. If you are freshly out of your college and need to gather a whole lot of experience very quickly, without meddling into process-oriented development work, then Alumnus can help you get that. The company has a very cool vibe to it and people are helpful. However, the upper-level management decisions can be poorly executed making employees unsatisfied with their time spent in the company.

Dislikes

Alumnus management is inefficient and incapable of adequate decision-making. From being the company that offered one of the highest packages in Kolkata, they have become low-grade payers in the Kolkata IT scene. People here are also reluctant to upgrade their skill set for reasons unknown.
