In this role I had very good work life balance and got lot of learnings. I was never worried about getting lynched from company as Railways is a very stable business.

Dislikes

The salary's were never on par with industry. Tendency is to not to promote and there is no long term vision. And the promotions are never based on the skill/merit but based on who cries loud.

No new technologies or tools implemented same old process which was used 10 years ago and all manual work.Too much politics and stress from managers .work culture is not good and you have to answer phone calls even at Night if not will be targeted.

zero employee benefits, Terrible work culture, Project deadlines are unrealistic , Weekend work with no OT or COMP less learning, U will lose the competitive edge to work in other companies because of seperate process (Company has it own standards which are of no use outside),

Worst company. I don't even feel this is a product based company. Worst management at all levels. Policies are different for location to location. There thoughts are still way backward. Apprisal is given based on gender, not on the based on work.
