Work culture and People here are good. Work load is moderate but it doesn’t affect your work life balance. Company had good number of Norwegian projects which opens a pathway to norway jobs. That is a big plus with Aker Solutions

Dislikes

Aker Solution being a Detail Engineering Consultant doesn’t always have full fleged projects. Currently there are no solid onshore project with a proper scope and the company management won’t even bid for projects where there is no monetary advantage.

Poor management of workforce and skill sets; employees are promoted based on their shoe licking abilities rather than their expertise. when you begin to raise your points or escalate your complaints, micro monitoring begins. many more points, but would rather not recall those days

Non technical teammates have unrealistic expectations. Without asking ETA to developer they will directly give timeline to client. Compulsory third party payroll policy if you are joining below 4 years of experience. Don't wanna expand their technical horizon. Everyone should work anything. Compulsory Work from office.

Quantum of work is less in offshore projects in India as compared to Norway. Although, Company is taking initiatives to increase work upto 90% in india for offshore projects
