Arguably the worst organisation to work in considering there are no employee benefits other than a postpaid sim card that comes with a max limit. Coming to cons, I can mention end number of them but let's settle at a few: 1) Horrible culture that starts with micromanagement and ends with calls on Sunday morning with commands (not requests) to work on random issues and requirements. 2) No one cares about quality of development and wants features to be delivered within hours without proper testing and release plan. 3) Every team faces comparison from other teams despite the fact that actual problem lies in the senior officials who work like daily wage workers. 4) Flexibility - what is that? You get paid to come 5 days in office and spend 9 hours daily without expecting a single moment of gratitude. 5) Every small request is met with personal comments/insults by HR and managers who have teamed up to make every employee's life a living hell. 6) They can't fix a coffee machine and that's why we cannot expect a working infra either which has zero support for developers. 7) Pollution, rain, earthquake, fire or tornado should not stop you from arriving into office to earn the daily wage. Once upon a time, in the bustling kingdom of Corporateville, there was a manager who ruled with an iron fist. Let’s call this guy Sir Micromanage or “Maestro” Sir Micromanage believed that in order to achieve success, every single task, no matter how small, needed his personal touch. He watched over his team like a hawk, swooping down at the first sign of deviation from his grand plan. In Sir Micromanage’s court, creativity and initiative were rare gems, buried deep beneath layers of rigid control and constant oversight. The knights( or employees, as they were called) quickly learned that it was safer to stick to the script than to venture into unknown territory. After all , Sir Micromanage was known to unleash his wrath upon anyone who dared to think independently. The atmosphere in the office castle was tense, with whispers of dissatisfaction echoing through the corridors. Team meetings felt more like inquisitions, where ideas were dissected and often dismissed without a second thought. Instead of collaboration, competition and fear reigned supreme. But the tale doesn’t end here. Over time, the knights grew weary.They began to question whether this was the way a kingdom should be run. Productively began to falter, creativity dried up and morale reached an all - time low . It became clear that the kingdom could not thrive under Sir Micromanage’s heavy- handed rule . The story of Micromanage serve as a cautionary tale. It teaches us that while control might bring short- term results, it’s trust, collaboration and respect that build lasting success. A kingdom where ideas are nurtured and knights are empowered will always outshine one where fear and control stifle growth.
