A great opportunity for freshers to start a career with. There are many things to learn here.
Compensation is not so good. Cannot take leaves in probation period excluding serious medical condition. Will be called for meeting if did something wrong. Growth is slow.
Generally speaking, my work was little hectic but I enjoyed doing it. I was responsible for doing some special verifications which was obviously a challenging task. I competed all task on time and hardly gave any chance to anyone to point out at anything.

We love hiring candidates who are willing to struggle and take risks. So, if you won’t shy working in a smelting furnace then we are the right place for you. We see that you got promoted from an Associate to a Senior Associate to a SME in 2.2 years. 2 promotions in 2.2 years is not bad career growth. You did good at “Absolute”. Remember: The trees that are slow to grow bear the best fruit.

This company is good, recognises good employees and also rewards them appropriately. This review has been written by an intern who either absconded or was terminated for cause. Majority of the candidates who intern with us leave on a very positive note and have a great work experience with us. Some interns join and expect that as a part of the Work Culture they can sit at their workstations with ear phones plugged in and work while listening to music, keep phones at their workstation to check WhatsApp and do what it pleases. Being a company that handles customer and candidate sensitive data we do not allow phones at workstation, don't permit earphones at work and some interns see this as freedom taken away from them and hence link this with work culture. Interns are required to read their offer letters to understand the stipend payment date. Majority of the interns do not read the stipend payout date and then start complaining only to be directed back and told to reach the offer letter. Interns are not allowed leaves except in cases of family emergency or exams. Often some interns choose to have an emergency every single week and hence leaves are denied. If someone on the team has one emergency per week it is a serious problem to have. Interns are not permitted or eligible for leaves and hence all leaves are to be covered. The same is mentioned clearly on the Offer Letter under Schedule 1. All companies that are in the services domain where productivity and delivery to the client on time is of paramount importance will require interns to cover up for loss of productive hours. If an intern is late one of days we do not insist for a cover up but if someone is a chronic or a habitual late comer then we have to ask them to cover up for loss of productive time. It is important to notice the irony here - That the intern who has written this review has a problem with late payment of stipend (as claimed by him/her) but at the same time thinks that it is perfectly fine to come to the office 15 minutes late regularly and the company shouldn't ask them to cover up. We got to play it even. When you as an intern are late to office then suddenly you expect that it is OKAY to do this but if the company is late (if at all) in release of stipend then suddenly it is NOT OKAY. We got to even it out somewhere.

Dear Ex-Colleague - Before you walk down the road of complaints and dislikes perhaps you should read your offer letter. A lot of people who join a company do not read their offer letters. An internship is not a job and hence stipend is not salary. Please review the schedule of stipend release before complaining that it is late. A stipend is nothing, but a payment made to a trainee or a person - who is a learner - for living expenses. It is unlike a salary or wages which an employer pays to an employee. This 'stipend' amount is a pre-determined sum paid by the employer to aid offset expenses. Some interns confuse internship with a job and hence confuse stipend with salary. As a company we pay well over the average market and the statistics are available on Internshala. At our current stipend rate, we pay better than 86% of the companies in Delhi NCR. So, when you apply for an internship with Absolute People Screen Pvt. Ltd. you are assured that you are being paid a stipend that is better than what 86% of the companies in Delhi NCR pay to interns. Please read your Offer Letter regarding leaves. Interns are not allowed leaves except for medical reasons or exams. We do not ask people to come on Sunday and work. Our office is closed on Sundays. The nature of our business is such that you cannot undertake any domestic verification work on a Sunday. You have also mentioned that: "Directors Are Not Up To Their Words". Please go ahead and give reference to an incident so that we can respond appropriately.

Our response to this review is as under: 1) Our Client Relations Team hasn't worked on Sundays for over 3 years now. This review is false and misguiding. Our Clients are off on Sundays and majorly work Monday - Saturday and hence our workday and work times are aligned with our Clients. There is no need for anyone from our Client Relations Team to work a Sunday. If there is ever a need to work over and beyond the call of duty for anyone then we encourage remote working and offer Work From Home where ever it is possible. 2) Our Directors are extremely down to earth and their behaviour towards all colleagues is impeccable. Anyone who has worked with our company will vouch for the fact that our Directors are very friendly, work oriented, helpful and will go over and beyond to assist all colleagues. At the same time, they need the job to be done and expect the job to be done. 3) Our Operations Head has been Working From Home since February 2022 and currently on maternity leave. She is due to return shortly. The individual who has written this review is simply disgruntled and this review is totally bogus and sham. Our Operations Head has had no direct interaction with the team for almost a year now. 4) Salary Delays - Please review and study your employment agreement to understand the payroll date. Sometimes people do not study the employment offer and don't see the payroll date and come to a conclusion that salaries are delayed. Yes, at times due to unavoidable circumstances salaries run late and this happens in many companies. The world is in a recession and 'Possibility Of Avoiding Recession Really Narrow, 2023 Will Be Worse Than 2022,' Says IMF's Gita Gopinath. So we need to live in real times and it appears that the individual who wrote this review is living in Gala Land. 5) Likes: Nothing: Our recommendation is that you should switch a job if not already. If you like nothing about our company then perhaps we have made a mistake hiring you and you've made a larger mistake by being with us. Although we are of the opinion that this review hasn't been written by any of our colleagues.

My profile with “Absolute” in a way is challenging, it not only challenges my abilities to perform a task but also get the best out of me. I have explored working in many new aspects with “Absolute” and continuing to learn and discover something new by the day.
Where there are likes, there are dislikes too. What I dislike may not be a matter of dislike to others. However, I dislike one of the work ethics at “Absolute”. They are highly professional and only means business; there is no room for human sentiments at work. They would not leave any stones unturned to get a job done.
I handle the entire operations vertical and report to Director-Operations. I also handle the client accounts and support the Client Operations Team and Reports Quality Team to ensure timely delivery to clients.

There is nothing to like here. This is the worst company of my life .They didn't pay you on time . Every time you have to wait for 2 months for your previous salary. They are not going to provide you leave no matter what happens. If by mistake you are late even for 5 minutes, then you will have to cover up the time.

Dear Candidate - You haven't indicated how many years of work experience you have had or how many companies you have worked for. If you were into Reports QC with us, it is clear that you were either a fresher or perhaps with very minimal prior work experience. We pick freshers for the Reports QC role, so this itself explains that you lack experience and when you have worked only in one company in your life then perhaps you have little or nothing to compare us to. Regarding payment schedules, please refer to your offer letter. Am sure you didn't read the payment schedule on your offer letter. If you had an issue with the payment schedule you shouldn't have joined us in the first place. When you join a company either as an intern or a full times employee leaves are not allowed unless there is a family or medical emergency. For interns we extend leave on the date of the exam and extend leaves for family or medical emergency. However, there are interns who take excessive offs and that can be a problem in any company. If you are full time, you have a probationary period of 6 months and no leaves are allowed during probationary period unless there is a family or medical emergency. The thumb rule is : If you are not "Full Time" you are not entitled to leaves. Now only if you had enough work experience and had worked in enough companies you would have understood that. So, your review is completely baseless because it has been written by an amateur who clearly had bad attitude at work. Yes, if you are late then you have to cover up the time because if you are in a Production role then every minute counts. Realistically, we don't expect you to cover 5 minutes. But, if you are occasionally late and late for over 15 minutes every single day as was the case with you then for sure you have to cover up for the lost time. On the rest of the matters we wont comment as it is a clear case of someone venting out their frustration on an online platform.

Dear Colleague - Very sorry to hear about your experience with us. They say - What Goes Around - Comes Around In Our Life. Same holds very true for your work life as well. Usually employees who do an astounding job at their company will have astounding careers vs. those who are unable to get their work right. Regarding your issues. 1) Our Holiday policy is clearly explained during the interview process. 2) The Employment offer letter has clear sections on how holidays work during Probation and after Probation. 3) The Induction training for all New Hires explains how Holidays work in our company. 4) New Hires are given access to the company holiday calendar when they go live. You reviewed & signed all pages of our Employment Terms & Conditions before starting with us. If you joined Absolute People Screen with an intent that you could take Holidays at free will then you probably joined a wrong company. There is a clear and a very well defined process for applying for a Holiday / Leave with us. We have been working on the Salary component and have raised our salary bar by almost 20% for New Hirings. The New Hires that were hired in 2019 were hired at 20% higher CTC as compared to the New Hires who were hired before 2019. This is an area of improvement for us and we are working on this one. Work Culture - Majority of the people who work with us and have stayed long term have truly enjoyed working with us. At this juncture it is tough to comment on what you found missing on the Work Culture component at Absolute. Probation - You are probably a colleague whose probation got extended because of work performance issues and leaves denied because of issues at work. That explains why you are disgruntled. You had 6 months to get your work right to a minimum acceptable standard with our company. If you fail to achieve that your probation will get extended. We don't make employees with poor and unacceptable work performance permanent in our company. Yes, it is indeed correct. The 2 directors who run Absolute People Screen have a spousal relationship. You failed to do your home work on this aspect. A lot of large and many successful companies are run by couples and a lot of these are billion dollar companies. To name a few: Landmark Group, Panda Express, Cuties, Marvell, Little Caesar's Pizza, Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores, Forever 21, Syntel, Wal-Mart and many many more.

You have not provided much information here except some ratings and based on that we will try to assist you and provide guidance and direction. You have rated us "Average" on Skill development / Learning - We recommend that in order to enhance your skills and learn more at the job you need to talk to your manager. Your manager will put you on a path where you can learn more at the job. Taking extra initiatives at the job and volunteering for extra projects is another way to learn and improve yourself. You have rated us "Poor" on Work-Life balance - This contradicts to the work timings you have put for your job: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Strict). In fact all of our operations team does leave between 6:00 pm - 6:15 pm. The only colleagues who stay back for extra work are from the leadership team and they do so out of their own goodwill. If you still face an issue with Work-Life balance please talk to your manager and am sure we can help you. You have rated us "Terrible" on Compensation & Benefits - Just a year or so back when you joined us the compensation that was offered to you during the interview process sounded great. If that was not the case you won't have joined us. It's not a great idea to complain about compensation after joining a company. When you choose your next job try to do your due diligence on this front before accepting the job offer.
