DCS stands for Distributed Control System and is used for large-scale industrial processes.
PLC stands for Programmable Logic Controller and is used for smaller, discrete processes.
DCS allows for centralized control and monitoring of multiple processes, while PLC is more suited for standalone machines.
Our company uses DCS for our manufacturing processes due to their complexity and scale.

Q3. Difference between RTD and TC
RTD measures temperature using resistance while TC measures using voltage.
RTD stands for Resistance Temperature Detector while TC stands for Thermocouple.
RTD measures temperature by detecting the change in resistance of a metal wire while TC measures temperature by detecting the voltage generated by two different metals.
RTD is more accurate and stable than TC but is also more expensive.
TC can measure a wider range of temperatures than RTD.
