My experience was good till I was not aligned with KRU research team. There are many good good Managers (VP) and team leads( AVP)

Dislikes

Never join KRU Research team. The lady who leads jaipur team is very toxic. She doesn't know the ABCD of people management. There is one black guy( her right hand) just senior analyst ( acting personal secretary of that lady) who always carry a diary and a pen and extract documents from registry portals everyday for at least 16 hrs, brings coffee from coffe machine just to please that lady is Rockstar of that process. He is favourite and popular because he did not take any leave during last financial year and works 14 to 16 hrs every day. There is another short height Rockstar who pass on everything one discusses on floor ( even Jokes one crack) to that lady. Lady manager is herself a gossip queen and immature she will discuss her personal life ask all personal thing from you. Give you lot of personal gyan.Her punchline in every meeting is "She is single and Independent mother 😂" Everyone abuse her on her back, no one is happy but they are all stuck there as ther is no other company in Jaipur that pays at par with. In every one on one she used to fight saying I talk about her but I never just thought of writing here so that at least ppl will know these type of ppl lead team and spoil careers of ppl. Note: Only way to excel in that team is you have to work like a puppet and please her ego else she will spoil your career. VP who manage this team is also not very supportive. Never takes skip level. This team needs shuffling of management and team members else they will spoil the company culture.

Overall it is good. Salary is good as per market. Bonus apart from salary . Latest Tech

Dislikes

Contractor and consultant are treated as permanent staff while permanent staff are treated like contractors sometimes. Many times it is contractor driven which permanent staff feels bad.

Good work culture and high goodwill/reputation of company.

Dislikes

BNY Mellon taking employees on contractual basis on low package and taking freshers from collages with high packages. Company does not convert contractual employee to permanent employee.

Good parts are Salary will be ontime, Leave policy is good . IJP options, Brand value is good.

Dislikes

Company and its operation policy are good but people Who are leading team are not capable enough to direct team according to company values and policies. Work life balance is critical in some of the projects. And it's transportation policy makes you loose your time atleast for 2hours in a day excluding travel time. Leads are not transparent in giving ratings, OT pay won't given on time and most of the time no full OT will be given ,if work extra 10 hours it will be given 1 or 2 hours based on the leads mood. Who ever is capable of doing work will get more work but not appreciated. Lack of carreer development. Favouritism.

The culture and work life balance they foster is worth appreciating and the people/colleagues I have come across in Cognizant, are all wonderful.

Dislikes

Salary and compensation is very average, and I am not satisfied with the increment I am getting, which is an important factor for every employee.
