It all depends on the project. Some projects have excellent wor-life balance and take things slow.

Low salary hikes. Many projects are for short duration. Not all projects have good growth opportunities.

Compensation is not good . Despite of good growth , only 3% or 5% income benefit is given which is too low.

...f tax saving components are available to maximize the tax savings for employees. The higher basic salary means a higher contribution to EPF and NPS (if opted.) This in turn ensures a good retirement corpus. On the flip-side, the higher contribution to EPF results in a lower take home figure, which a lot of millennials feel is a negative (lower instant gratification.)

Dislikes

Work life balance can be a hit-or-miss depending on the specific client engagement. Globally dispersed teams and even within India the team members maybe located in any part of the country makes one feel disconnected at a human level from the team.

Work Culture , Job Security is good. Good learning experience and exposure.

Dislikes

Salary is less and promotions are slow.
