Dislikes

Work culture is not at all good. 1 person is doing work of 3 person No reward/increment for the hard work A huge amount of CTC is declared as variable pay Sometime it seems that management is doing partiality

They provide excellent compensation which could be better than industry average. However this compensation is on paper since you do not get variable pay as per CTC since company does not achieve its financial targets.

Dislikes

Syngenta do not have a clear vision and path for success. Due to many changes in senior management, the focus keeps on changing and many business decisions are by the whims and fancies of management. Since they get huge pressure to achieve financial targets, many expenses are reduced and hence they fire employees without giving them opportunities to improve or alternate options in case of redundancies. Syngenta just do not care for employees potential, growth and career. Company promotes people who flatters management and not based on performance/potential.

...mpany helps people in developing skill sets. The culture is good and supportive. There is good payouts through rewards and recognition.

Dislikes

There is politics and favoritism. The company do not pay well for appraisals and promotion

There is no appraisal or promotion from last two appraisal cycle due to insufficient project and recession in the market

Dislikes

Work life balance is totally a myth, no growth in terms of salary for last two years
